MUSIC RESEARCH

This is an overview of research by PBS kids. It details the myriad benefits of musical education. These include higher IQ, the brain working harder, spatial-temporal skills, improved test scores, and simply being musical!

This one may be a bit technical unless you are a music geek. Simply put, “music interventions” are simply the act of using music to enhance a learning exercise of any kind. And if you read nothing more than the introduction to this abstract, you will see that music, whether it be formal instruction or informal activity, may offer so many benefits that they cannot be listed in any type of short simple fashion!
